Web site has been revamped from the ground up. The intended audience is consumers, and it is part of the National Pork Board’s ongoing effort to use “the power of the Web to reach and connect with our consumers online,” says Cathy Lee Fredrickson, NPB online content manager.

Some of the site’s features include:

  • An easy-to-search database of more than 1,700 pork recipes. An improved quick-search feature lets visitors find pork recipes by cut, preparation time and more.
  • Festive “Party with Pork” ideas for appetizers, tailgating, celebrations, special occasions and holidays.
  • Links to the latest pork news, including updates on NPB’s advertising and public relations campaigns.

“Our goal is to use the new as a teaching tool to educate the consumer and to highlight everything that’s going on in the world of pork. The sky’s the limit with this site,” Fredrickson says.
