The Reassuring hand of PQA Plus
For me, getting involved with PQA Plus was an easy choice to make. Responsible Pork production is the key to my operation’s success. And the PQA Plus program is an assurance to me, our industry and our customers that I raise my hogs safely and responsibly.
Every producer should get involved in this program. I want to keep raising pork, and we need to have a marketplace out there in order for that to keep on happening. There are a lot of people outside the industry who really don’t know what it means to be a responsible pork producer. But that doesn’t stop them from telling our customers what we should be doing. That’s why it’s vital for our industry and for our customers beyond our farms’ gates to have the knowledge of what we do and how we do it. We need to show them doing the right thing is an important part of what it means to be a U.S. pork producer.
