Once again, a federal judge has ruled that you can’t blame McDonald's for children being obese.

U.S. District Judge Robert Sweet dismissed a lawsuit that accused McDonald's of misleading consumers through advertising and other publicity that its food products are nutritious.

In his earlier ruling, Sweet said consumers can’t blame McDonald's if they choose to eat at the restaurant, and potentially gain weight from over-eating.

This is the second such ruling in McDonald’s favor. However, the effort is not likely to disappear because some of the same lawyers who took on tobacco companies have vowed to make fat, obesity and fast-food their next cause.
