Hormel Foods Corp. has set up a an interactive Web site that focuses on the company's Hormel brand products.
Located at www.Hormel.com, the site is designed to resemble an interactive kitchen. Visitors can browse through virtual cupboards, which display various products in the Hormel brand.
"The site is a hub for the beginning of a broader digital strategy," says Scott Weisenbeck, Hormel's group product manager.
Consumers will find information about product nutrition and ingredients, as well as an educational section on the benefits of incorporating meat proteins into a healthy diet. Visitors also can browse through detailed information about Hormel's convenient meal ideas or use the site's product locator.
