Just in time for hearty meals, Hormel Foods introduces new product cuts and barbeque options from two familiar brands-- Hormel Cure 81 ham and Lloyd's Woodfire Barbeque products.

While Hormel Cure 81 hams   have long been a favorite at the dinner table, they are now available in even more sizes and slices to expand family choices for every meal occasion. Each contains no preservatives and has no added nitrates or nitrites.

The new Cherrywood Smoked Ham steaks provide a unique flavor profile for consumers and are available in single and three-packs.  The diced and cubed products are ideal as recipe ingredients, with suggestions and measurement conversions included on the package.

New varieties include:

  • 12-ounce Cherrywood smoked ham steaks (three-pack) (SRP $4.39 to $4.99 per unit)
  • 8-ounce Cherrywood smoked ham steak (single) (SRP $3.09 to $3.59 per unit)
  • 12-ounce diced boneless ham (SRP $4.39 to $4.99 per unit)
  • 12-ounce cubed boneless ham (SRP $4.39 to $4.99 per unit)

New from Lloyd's Barbeque is a line of sauce-less smoked meats. These authentic, premium meats are slow smoked for 9 to 10 hours using real hard woods like hickory to highlight their unique flavors. Lloyd's Woodfire Barbeque meats are a start to a great-tasting meal, providing consumers the opportunity to add their favorite sauce to make it their own.

These versatile meats are great in tacos, salads, pizza and more. They are available in 12-ounce packages of pulled-pork and pulled-chicken varieties, with a suggested retail price of $5.99.

Hormel will conduct couponing, marketing and public relations efforts to further support for these products.
