Cargill announced the launch of its re-designed Sterling Silver brand Web site, according to a report.

Some of the major modifications to the site include:

• A more user-friendly home page with sections to guide consumers to places of interest including Signature Recipes, Culinary Corner and Shop Online.

• Re-vamped restaurant and retail locator guides enhanced with Google Maps. More than 11,000 operators are listed in the restaurant locator. In addition, consumers can locate retailers in their area and download coupons.

• New Culinary Corner section with information about Sterling Silver Premium Meats Signature Chefs, culinary tips and a recipe search.

As part of the launch of the new Web site, the brand is offering free bacon with each on-line order.

"Combining the strength of our premium brand's product quality with our chef enthusiasts created the model for the redesign of the Web site," said Ozlem Worpel, Sterling Silver brand manager. "The new Web site not only focuses on the product, but offers culinary-focused information for the at-home chef."
