Alaska Airlines announced it has expanded its Northern Bites meal service in coach class, serving an expanded menu on more flights.
New additions to the menu include breakfast options such as a sausage and egg biscuit and a skillet with scrambled eggs, ham, mushrooms, cheese and potatoes as well as a grilled chicken sandwich on ciabatta and a platter of cheese and artisanal salami. Executive Chef Clifton Lyles developed the new meals.
The menu will vary based on flight and time of day, with items available for $6 or $7 on most flights longer than two and a half hours. The airline will continue to offer its U.S. Certified Angus cheeseburger as well as picnic packs.
