Fifty graduating high school seniors interested in livestock production or agronomy related studies will be selected to receive $1,000 scholarships as part of the Agriliance Croplan Genetics and Land O'Lakes-Farmland Feed "Careers in Agriculture" education program.

To qualify a candidate must meet the following criteria:

Be a high school senior planning to enroll in a two- or four-year livestock or agronomy related curriculum in the fall of 2001.

Demonstrate leadership activities as well as academic performance.

Write an essay describing why the applicant is interested in an agricultural career.

Applications must be postmarked by March 1, 2001. Winners will be notified in May 2001.
