David Meisinger is Director of Sales for Validus. Previously, he was Executive Director of the Center for Pork Excellence and wrote a column for PORK Network. David shares some of his favorite things in this personality profile.
PN: What’s your favorite pork dish?
DM: Honey Sesame Tenderloin – I’ve made it for graduation parties and many other get-togethers. I’ve even won some national scouting cooking competitions with it.
PN: If money were no object what would you do?
DM: Travel the world.
PN: What words do you live by?
DM: “It takes a lifetime to build a reputation and a day to destroy it.” I believe honesty and integrity are important qualities.
PN: What do you enjoy most about the pork industry?
DM: The people. I’m blessed to have made many contacts and have had the opportunity to make many friends.
PN: What’s your favorite book?
DM: The Bible, which I read every day. Every year, I start on Jan. 1 and end on Dec. 31, then I start over again. I’ve done this for six years.
