To encourage the use of pork in meal preparation at home, the Ohio Pork Council (OPC) is running advertisements through Pandora, the popular online radio service that requires users to engage with brands’ advertisements to continue listening to the free music tailored specifically to their interests.
In June, OPC ran an ad focused on Pork Tenderloin, targeted to Ohio women, between the ages of 30-44.
The visual component of the ad, pictured to the left, linked users to OhioPork.org, and was accompanied by the following script that played between songs. “You love tender, juicy and flavorful which is exactly how pork tenderloin will taste when cooked to perfection. Pork tenderloin is just as lean as skinless chicken breast and tastes its delicious best when grilled to an internal temperature of 145ºF with a three-minute rest. So whether you use an Asian teriyaki marinade or honey mustard glaze, grill pork tenderloin for a healthy meal with amazing flavor. Click here or visit OhioPork.org for cooking tips and recipe ideas."
