Gas prices see an increase this week across the United States, with the average price across the U.S. being $2.39. This eight cent increase has brought the 27-day average price to $2.43. This is the highest price gas has seen in a month.
The Central Atlantic and Midwest regions saw the largest jump of ten cents each. The Midwest region rested at $2.37, while the Central Atlantic hit $2.62 this week. However, the West Coast region, who saw the smallest increase of three cents, still sits at the highest average gas price of $2.71.
Prices in Colorado saw the largest increase this week jumping to ten cents to $2.34, with New York close behind at $2.60 by nine cents.
