English meat producer Cranswick has made its third acquisition in just two years. Cranswick recently purchased Dunbia Ballymena, a Northern Ireland pork processor.
Currently, Dunbia Ballymena employs 360 people and processes approximately 7800 pigs each week.
Cranswick’s current pork business includes selling fresh meat, sausages and other products to food retailers and supermarkets. Dunbia Ballymena is the company’s first acquisition in Northern Ireland.
